In a tweet, Kanaani said that Syed Muhammad Ikram, one of the renowned Persian language and literature professors in Pakistan and the subcontinent and the honorary member of Iran’s Academy of Persian Language and Literature passed away.
Kanaani offered his condolences to Syed Muhammad Ikram’s family and students, as well as the Pakistani people.
